  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide expert legal advice and interpret professional conduct rules for attorneys and related personnel.
  • Conduct efficient, high-quality legal analyses on complex and novel ethical challenges.
  • Exercise sound legal judgment and prioritize competing assignments effectively.
  • Deliver superior client services to program offices, including law enforcement, policymakers, attorneys, and senior leadership.
  • Tailor communications to specific audiences, ensuring clarity and impact.
  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively across various work units.
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • Extensive experience advising on and interpreting attorney professional conduct rules.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality legal analyses and exercise sound legal judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills, decisiveness, and initiative.
  • Superior written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Active member in good standing of the bar of a U.S. state, territory, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
  • **For GS-12/13 Levels:** Possess relevant skills and experience indicating a quick learning capability within an Ethics Office environment.
  • **For GS-14/15 Levels:** Hold subject matter expertise, including over 4 years of specialized experience in attorney professional responsibility.
