## Financial Management Specialist (GS-13)

### Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial data using budget principles to prepare comprehensive reports.
• Communicate financial management and budgeting recommendations to senior leadership.

• **Experience:** Minimum of one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, specifically in financial data evaluation, reporting, budget communication, program auditing, and financial analysis. Your resume must clearly detail this experience.
• **Time in Grade:** Current federal employees must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at GS-12 or equivalent) by September 18, 2025.
• **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is mandatory.
• **U.S. Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Specific exceptions may apply for U.S. government-related work abroad.
• **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
• **CTAP/ICTAP:** Eligible candidates must achieve a minimum score of 85 and submit supporting documentation.
