Job Description

Summary

Seeking a licensed Master's/Doctoral-level FAP Manager with 5+ years post-licensure clinical experience to lead family advocacy programs.

We are seeking a highly qualified Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Manager to lead and oversee critical human services and mental health support. This role involves managing a clinical program, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and providing direct services to families.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Manage and supervise clinicians within a clinical program.
  • Provide counseling and treatment for child abuse and domestic abuse cases.
  • Gather data, prepare reports, and analyze work assignments.
  • Plan, organize, and execute program goals effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding family advocacy, violence, and child abuse.
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities, safety procedures, and customer service policies.
  • Serve in an 'on-call' duty status for emergencies outside of normal work hours.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • **Education:** Master's or Doctoral degree in a human service and/or mental health professional field from an accredited university.
  • **Licensure:** Highest state or national licensure in good standing in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy, authorizing independent clinical practice. (Photocopy required with application).
  • **Experience:**
* 5 years post-licensure experience in child abuse and domestic abuse counseling or treatment. * 3 years experience supervising clinicians in a clinical program. * 1 year experience (or obtain within 1 year of employment) in PSB-CY, child and adolescent development, and trauma-informed care for clinicians providing direct services to children, youth, and families.
  • **Security & Compliance:**
* Ability to meet Tier III credentialing standards (Secretary of Navy Instruction 1754.7A). * Subject to favorable Tier 1 Childcare (CNACI) investigation and State Criminal History Repository Check every five years. * Must undergo an installation records check (IRC) and meet additional Tier 1 Childcare check criteria and disqualification standards.
  • **Skills:**
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Valid driver's license. * Knowledge of relevant regulations (family advocacy, family violence, child abuse, victim witness and assistance). * Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
