Summary
Federal Administrative Professionals (GS-11/12) needed for comprehensive office management, executive support, and operational analysis.
We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Professionals at the GS-11 and GS-12 levels to join our federal team. This role involves comprehensive administrative support, workflow management, and operational analysis, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- *GS-11 Level:**
- Manage physical and electronic document workflow, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Utilize various office automation and data processing systems effectively.
- Provide administrative support, including analysis for employee engagement and internal communication initiatives.
- *GS-12 Level (in addition to GS-11 duties):**
- Independently manage executive calendars, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics.
- Prepare and arrange briefing materials for high-level meetings and conferences.
- Develop portions of reports, charts, and presentations for specific projects.
- Analyze findings and recommend solutions to improve work operations.
- Prepare staff reports and advise managers on administrative matters.
- *Qualifications:**
- *Experience Requirements:**
- **GS-11:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, performing duties similar to those listed above.
- **GS-12:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, performing duties similar to those listed above.
- Qualifying volunteer experience is considered.
- *Education Substitution (for GS-11 only):**
- Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a degree, a doctoral degree, or an LL.M. Proof of education is required.
- A combination of education and experience may also qualify.
- *General Requirements:**
- **Time in Grade:** Current federal employees must meet specific time-in-grade requirements.
- **Background Investigation:** A thorough background investigation is required, including questions about felony convictions and illegal drug use, as part of employment with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years, with potential exceptions for specific government-related overseas activities.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
