Job Description

Summary

Lead complex federal investigations, develop agency-wide policies, provide expert advice, and manage high-impact employment discrimination cases.

This role is for a highly experienced professional at the GS-13 level, focusing on complex investigations and policy development.

  • *Responsibilities:**
  • Lead challenging investigations by applying laws and regulations, developing new techniques, and generating detailed reports.
  • Develop and implement agency-wide policies, procedures, and strategies for large-scale or multi-jurisdictional investigations, often involving sensitive issues.
  • Provide expert technical advice and recommendations that influence the interpretation of regulations, shape case law, and guide the modification of significant agency policies or programs.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of investigations, including complex employment discrimination cases with nationwide or international scope that significantly impact employment policies.
  • *Requirements:**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, which must include:
* Applying laws and regulations to investigative work, developing techniques or reports. * Developing agency policies or strategies for large-scale or sensitive investigations. * Providing technical advice influencing regulations, case law, or policy development. * Serving as a project manager for investigations, particularly those involving significant employment discrimination issues.
