Job Description
Summary
Lead complex federal investigations, develop agency-wide policies, provide expert advice, and manage high-impact employment discrimination cases.
This role is for a highly experienced professional at the GS-13 level, focusing on complex investigations and policy development.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Lead challenging investigations by applying laws and regulations, developing new techniques, and generating detailed reports.
- Develop and implement agency-wide policies, procedures, and strategies for large-scale or multi-jurisdictional investigations, often involving sensitive issues.
- Provide expert technical advice and recommendations that influence the interpretation of regulations, shape case law, and guide the modification of significant agency policies or programs.
- Manage the full lifecycle of investigations, including complex employment discrimination cases with nationwide or international scope that significantly impact employment policies.
- *Requirements:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, which must include:
- Relevant paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.*
