- *Responsibilities:**
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on environmental, energy, and sustainability laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Interpret and explain program requirements to management and employees.
- Resolve complex environmental, energy, and/or sustainability problems and issues.
- Develop and provide policy, guidance, and oversight for nationwide programs.
- Deliver training to supervisors and employees on energy and sustainability topics.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. This experience must explicitly demonstrate:

- **U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Specifics:**
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees must serve a one-year probationary period.
