Emergency Medical Response Education Program Specialist (O-5 Billet) Non-Supervisory

This demanding role requires robust physical capabilities and strong professional competencies to ensure safety and provide essential support in challenging environments.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide immediate emergency care, including CPR, from standing or kneeling positions.
• Assist sick, injured, or aging individuals (detainees or staff), potentially requiring lifting, dragging, or carrying.
• Maintain physical readiness for active duties, including walking, jogging, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Operate effectively and without physical limitations in stressful and austere environments.
• *Required Qualifications & Skills:**
• **Communication & Interpersonal:** Superior oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and active listening abilities.
• **Analytical & Organizational:** Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and track data. Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• **Technical:** Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• **Teamwork:** Proven ability to work collaboratively across different organizational units.
• **Physical Demands:**

* Ability to walk unaided for up to 5 minutes and maintain balance. * Capability to jog/fast walk up to ¼ mile. * Ability to perform CPR/emergency care standing or kneeling. * Capacity to assist individuals requiring significant physical support (lifting, dragging, wheeling, or carrying). * Adequate sight, hearing, and smell (with aids if necessary). * Ability to easily alternate between kneeling and standing. * Capable of lifting, pushing, or carrying 30 pounds. * Ability to perform duties without physical limitations in stressful conditions.
