Job Description

Summary

Seeking emergency medical professionals to conduct risk assessments, provide medical care, and support preparedness for federal operations.

We are seeking skilled Emergency Medical Professionals to join our federal team. You will play a critical role in medical risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and providing immediate medical care. This position is open for two grade levels, GS-12 and GS-13, based on experience and qualifications.

  • *Emergency Medical Professional - GS-12**
  • **Salary:** Starting at $101,401.00
  • **Responsibilities:**
* Assist in conducting medical risk assessments to identify threats and recommend mitigation strategies. * Coordinate communication and collaborate with public safety partners for emergency response. * Help develop and deliver emergency preparedness or medical training and exercises. * Provide emergency field medical care, including First Aid, CPR, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • **Requirements:**
* One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level. * **Must provide proof of an active National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certification.**

  • *Emergency Medical Professional - GS-13**
  • **Salary:** Starting at $120,579.00
  • **Responsibilities:**
* Conduct medical risk assessments to identify threats and recommend mitigation strategies to senior leadership. * Coordinate with public safety partners to execute emergency response operations and protocols. * Assist in designing and implementing emergency preparedness training and exercises. * Provide emergency medical care, including First Aid, CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Life Support (ALS).
  • **Requirements:**
* One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. * **Must provide proof of an active National Registry Paramedic (NRP) certification.**

  • *General Requirements for All Applicants:**
  • Experience includes paid and unpaid work, including volunteer service.
  • Federal employees must meet 'Time-in-Grade' requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade) and provide SF-50 documentation.
