Job Description
Summary
Lead emergency operations, COOP/COG planning, and critical communications programs for a federal law enforcement agency.
This critical role within a federal law enforcement agency focuses on emergency preparedness and response, managing complex continuity programs and emergency communications.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate within or lead functions in Tactical or Emergency Operations Centers.
- Design, implement, and evaluate Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Continuity of Government (COG) plans and exercises.
- Establish and maintain robust emergency communications programs.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 federal grade level. This experience must clearly demonstrate proficiency in the responsibilities listed above and includes both paid and qualifying volunteer work.
- **Application Process:** Completion of an application, questionnaire, and mandatory online assessment. A passing score on the assessment is required for consideration.
