Summary
Lead complex federal programs, manage personnel, and direct strategic initiatives at the GS-15 level.
## Overview Join a federal law enforcement agency in a senior capacity, overseeing complex programs and strategic initiatives. This GS-15 role demands leadership in management, program oversight, and strategic analysis.
## Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall management and technical direction for complex administrative or operational activities.
- Oversee and direct organizational programs, mission goals, and objectives.
- Manage programs and associated personnel in a dynamic environment.
- Analyze programs or projects and develop recommendations for implementation.
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level, demonstrating proficiency in senior management, program oversight, personnel management, and strategic analysis. Volunteer experience is considered.
- **Time in Grade:** Current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the GS-14 (or equivalent) grade level by October 31, 2025.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is required due to the federal law enforcement nature of the agency.
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. government service or study abroad.
- **Probationary Period:** A one-year probationary period is typically required for new federal employees.
- **Resume:** Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet the specialized experience requirements.
