Summary
Investigator sought to assist with criminal and administrative inquiries, performing data analysis, interviews, and report preparation.
Join our team as an Investigator, contributing to critical inquiries and supporting administrative and criminal actions. This role requires a strong investigative background or advanced education.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct or assist with investigations in areas such as narcotics, money laundering, financial crimes, human trafficking, fraud, international trade, network intrusion response, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, or general criminal/administrative matters.
- Perform federal, state, and local law enforcement-related database queries.
- Collect and analyze information to support criminal or administrative actions.
- Conduct or assist with interviews of cooperative individuals (e.g., suspects, witnesses, sources, and/or victims) to gather information.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for criminal or administrative actions.
- *Qualifications (GL-9 Level):**
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria by the application submission date:
- *Option 1: Experience**
- One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-07 grade level (or equivalent), performing duties such as assisting with investigations, conducting database queries, collecting/analyzing information for criminal/administrative actions, assisting with interviews, and preparing reports.
- *Option 2: Education**
- A Master's (or equivalent graduate degree such as an L.L.B/J.D.) from an accredited college or university, demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role. or
- Two academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education from an accredited college or university, demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role.
- *Option 3: Combination**
- A combination of successfully completed graduate-level education beyond the first full year and specialized experience as described in Option 1, meeting 100% of the total requirement.
