Summary

Manage critical correspondence and task workflows, providing administrative and executive support for efficient communication.

Join our team as a Correspondence and Task Management Specialist, responsible for managing critical communications and ensuring efficient workflow. This role supports effective information exchange and executive decision-making within a dynamic environment.

  • *Responsibilities (May include, but are not limited to):**
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing tasks and correspondence.
  • Provide expert guidance on formatting, templates, sensitivity classifications, and approval processes for official documents.
  • Implement and manage systems for tracking correspondence, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Utilize advanced correspondence and task management systems to analyze and process various levels of communication.
  • Review, edit, and finalize correspondence to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Offer administrative advice, guidance, and assistance to customers and executive-level leadership.
  • Proactively manage and adjust suspense dates and task assignments to maintain operational efficiency.
  • *Requirements:**
  • *GS-09 Level:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level, demonstrating:
* Serving as a point of contact for tasking and correspondence. * Providing guidance on document format, templates, sensitivity, and approval. * Tracking correspondence and suspense dates.
  • **Education (may substitute for experience):**
* A Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or * 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (leading to such a degree), or * LL.B. or J.D. (if related to the position).

  • *GS-11 Level:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, demonstrating:
* Utilizing correspondence/task management systems to analyze all types of correspondence for tasking/data entry. * Reviewing, editing, and processing correspondence according to policies. * Providing administrative advice and guidance to customers and executive leadership. * Managing suspense dates and changes to task assignments.
  • **Education (may substitute for experience):**
* A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or * 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (leading to such a degree), or * LL.M. (if related to the position).

  • *Combined Education and Experience:**
  • Equivalent combinations of specialized experience and education may be used to meet the total qualification requirements for both GS-09 and GS-11 levels.
