Summary
Manages official correspondence and task assignments, ensuring timely processing and accurate tracking within an electronic system.
Join our team as a Correspondence and Task Management Specialist. You will be responsible for managing official correspondence and task assignments within an electronic tracking system, ensuring timely and accurate processing of critical information across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and assign incoming tasks and correspondence to appropriate action offices.
- Ensure all outgoing correspondence meets established formatting and grammatical standards.
- Operate and maintain electronic task management and tracking systems.
- Manage suspense dates, monitor task progress, and implement assignment changes.
- For higher levels (GS-11), provide administrative guidance and support to customers and executive leadership, analyzing complex correspondence and editing documents per policy.
Qualifications:
For GS-09 Level:
- Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level, demonstrating abilities in task assignment, correspondence review, electronic tracking system operation, and suspense management.
- Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree (2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education), or LL.B./J.D. if related.
For GS-11 Level:
- Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, demonstrating abilities in utilizing correspondence/task management systems for analysis and data entry, editing according to policies, providing administrative guidance to leadership, and managing task assignments.
- Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education), or LL.M. if related.
Combination of Education and Experience:
- Equivalent combinations of specialized experience and graduate education may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
