Summary

Lead engineering projects at the GS-14 level, providing solutions, managing files, and overseeing contractor performance.

## Senior Engineer (GS-14)

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Engineer to provide expert recommendations, manage project documentation, and oversee contractor performance at the GS-14 level.

### Basic Engineering Requirements

Applicants must meet ONE of the following:

  • **Degree:** A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or a program including differential/integral calculus and advanced courses in five key engineering science/physics areas (e.g., statics, thermodynamics, electrical circuits).
  • **Combination of Education & Experience:** College-level education, training, and/or technical experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of physical/mathematical sciences underlying engineering and practical understanding of engineering sciences. This must be proven by one of the following:
* Current professional registration/licensure as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or Professional Engineer (PE). * Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination or equivalent written test for professional registration. * Completion of at least 60 semester hours in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences, including courses required for an engineering degree. * Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field (e.g., engineering technology, physics, computer science) PLUS at least one year of professional engineering experience acquired under supervision.

### Minimum Qualifications (GS-14)

In addition to the basic requirements, candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, performing duties such as:

  • Providing expert recommendations and solutions for project implementation challenges.
  • Ensuring accurate organization and management of official program and project files.
  • Overseeing and evaluating contractor performance to ensure adherence to contract terms.
