• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Gather and analyze information from intelligence reports and various databases.
• Review and verify manifests, permits, and associated documents to determine merchandise admissibility.
• Plan and participate in tactical enforcement operations, including intensive boardings and roving patrols.
• Contribute to programs designed to secure supply chains and enhance border security.
• Manage the inspection of identity and travel documents to ensure validity and authenticity.
• *Qualifications:**
• **Specialized Experience:** At least one year of specialized experience performing duties similar to those listed above. Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet this requirement.
• **Prior Law Enforcement (Mandatory Prerequisite):** This is an administrative secondary law enforcement position. Applicants *must* have permanent prior service (at least three years) in a primary/rigorous federal law enforcement position (e.g., Customs Inspector, Immigration Inspector, CBP Officer), with a direct transition to a secondary role without a significant break in service. Knowledge and skills from a primary LEO role are essential.
• **Federal Employees:** Must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade) by October 10, 2025.

• Successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation.
• Polygraph examination is required, with potential exceptions for current CBP law enforcement, prior federal polygraph results, or eligible veterans.
