Cbp Officer (Border Security)

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking an experienced professional to lead and coordinate critical enforcement and investigative efforts aimed at strengthening border security.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Plan, lead, design, and coordinate complex enforcement operations with various intelligence, analytical, and multi-task force units.
• Develop and deploy innovative strategies to prevent the illegal entry of terrorists and their associates into the United States.
• Serve as a primary liaison to other federal agencies and internal Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/CBP management.
• Promote and ensure management accountability and operational integrity for border security initiatives, verifying policy compliance.
• Apply extensive knowledge of program legislation, regulations, and advanced inspection/investigative techniques.
• Prepare comprehensive reports to substantiate findings and support potential legal actions.
• *Requirements:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, demonstrating proficiency in the duties outlined above.
• Must have previously served permanently in a primary CBP Officer (CBPO) Special Retirement Coverage (SRC) position (e.g., Customs Inspector, Immigration Inspector, Canine Enforcement Officer, or CBP Officer).
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, polygraph examination, medical screening, and physical fitness test.
• Meet federal Time in Grade requirements.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
