Job Description

Summary

Seeking an experienced professional to manage government cost estimates and acquisition planning at the GS-13 level.

Join a federal agency in a critical role focused on acquisition and cost estimation. You will ensure the effective procurement of services at fair prices by applying your expertise in government cost analysis and acquisition planning.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop independent government cost estimates.
  • Conduct special studies and projects.
  • Consult with customers to create acquisition plans.
  • Define program/project goals and objectives with managers and executives.
  • Lead planning and schedule development efforts.
  • *Requirements:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, performing duties similar to those listed above.
  • **Grade Level:** Qualifies for GS-13.
  • **Federal Compliance:**
* Ability to pass a thorough background investigation by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). * Residency Requirement: Physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply). * Serve a one-year probationary period (for new federal employees). * Current federal employees must meet Time in Grade requirements.
