Summary
Lead GTM strategies and application modernization to drive AWS ProServe revenue and customer success globally.
The ProServe Business Development Executive drives significant growth and amplifies customer business outcomes through strategic go-to-market (GTM) initiatives for AWS Professional Services. This role is crucial for accelerating ProServe bookings and revenue by leveraging deep customer understanding and cross-functional collaboration across AWS Global Services.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies to accelerate ProServe billable bookings and revenue.
- Proactively generate demand and build pipeline through targeted outbound activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate complex deals, often requiring cross-functional partnerships.
- Drive large-scale programs and AWS-wide growth initiatives.
- Evolve AWS's application modernization value proposition based on customer needs.
- Lead teams to guide customers through their application modernization journey to retire legacy debt.
- Develop compelling proposals demonstrating business value from application modernization.
- Create global mechanisms, including consultative workshops, reference materials, and partner engagements.
- Establish qualification and training for field and partner resources to ensure customer business outcomes.
- Represent AWS thought leadership through customer briefings and event presentations.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 7+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 7+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of experience developing and implementing organizational strategies with measurable business outcomes.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader/business unit owner.
- Proven track record selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
- Experience in Contact Center technical/operational roles or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
