Summary

Lead AWS ProServe business development, crafting go-to-market strategies for application modernization to drive bookings and customer success.

AWS is seeking a Business Development Executive to accelerate ProServe billable bookings and drive significant customer outcomes. In this strategic role, you will build, scale, and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, primarily focusing on application modernization, and act as a crucial force multiplier for our field sales teams.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and evolve AWS's value proposition and engagement mechanisms for application modernization.
  • Lead direct and cross-functional teams in guiding customers through their application modernization journeys, helping to retire legacy application debt.
  • Identify opportunities and craft compelling proposals that clearly demonstrate the business value of application modernization.
  • Develop and implement global GTM elements, including consultative workshops, reference materials, partner engagements, and linkages to other Amazon programs.
  • Establish qualification and training approaches to build a community of field and partner resources, ensuring customer business outcomes are achieved.
  • Conduct customer briefings, present at events, and contribute to AWS thought leadership.
  • *Basic Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing complex business agreements.
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing organizational strategies that result in measurable business outcomes.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Experience as a founder, executive, practice leader, or business unit owner in related industry segments.
  • Proven experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
  • Background in Contact Center Technical or Operational roles, or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
  • *Compensation & Benefits:**
  • The base salary for this position ranges from $158,400 to $262,000 annually, varying by market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • AWS offers a comprehensive total compensation package, which may include equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
