Budget Officer

Join our team as a Budget Specialist, responsible for leading critical financial operations and strategy. We are seeking a highly experienced professional to manage complex budgetary activities, develop strategic financial plans, and provide key insights to senior leadership.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Direct all phases of budget planning, formulation, and execution for complex, multi-appropriation, multi-million dollar funding structures.
• Oversee fiscal year budget preparations and annual operating spending plans.
• Develop and implement budgetary strategies, policies, and practices that significantly impact spending.
• Manage the preparation and analysis of a variety of complex budgetary and financial reports.
• Present recommendations to senior management, congressional staff, or appropriators to improve fund utilization and achieve strategic program objectives.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Minimum of 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CP-12/GS-14 level.
• Experience must be directly related to the duties outlined above, equipping you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform this role.
