Summary
Seeking Budget Analysts (GS-12/13) to analyze, manage, and recommend federal budget strategies and financial plans.
Join a federal agency as a Budget Analyst (GS-12/13) to manage and optimize financial resources. This role involves comprehensive budget analysis, strategy development, and financial oversight.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide independent analysis of budget projections and recommend funding strategies.
- Track budget allocations, generate financial reports, and evaluate changes to financial plans.
- Analyze complex financial and budgetary relationships to develop actionable recommendations.
- Identify trends and variances in budget program data; review funding and staffing requests.
- *(GS-13 only)* Lead and train other budget analysts, ensuring effective budget planning and execution.
- *(GS-13 only)* Communicate directly with management on all budget-related matters.
- *Requirements:**
- **Experience:**
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. government service.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is required for employment with this federal law enforcement agency.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
