Job Description
Summary
CBP seeks Budget Analysts (GS-12/13) for federal budget formulation, analysis, and legislative coordination.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking skilled Budget Analysts at the GS-12 and GS-13 levels to support critical budget formulation and execution activities.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Assist with preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and consolidating budget justifications.
- Coordinate budget data and information requests with agency components, DHS, OMB, and Congress.
- Enter budget formulation data into various systems.
- Develop and assist with briefing materials for OMB and Congress.
- Analyze, interpret, and apply complex legislative, policy, and regulatory decisions to budgetary data (GS-13).
- Independently develop briefing materials and responses to information requests (GS-13).
- *Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS grade level, performing duties related to budget formulation, analysis, justification, and coordination.
