Summary
Lead budget analysis, formulation, and execution for national-level federal programs, requiring specialized financial planning and policy expertise.
Seeking a highly analytical and experienced professional to manage and execute critical budgetary functions for national-level programs within a federal agency. This role demands expertise in budget formulation, analysis, and policy application.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Independently review, analyze, consolidate, and revise budget estimates, justification statements, and execution plans.
- Interpret and apply complex policies to develop comprehensive budgetary plans, policies, and guidance.
- Evaluate program content, cost-benefit, and political viability of alternative budget and program actions.
- Formulate, justify, and monitor budget execution for a national-level program organization.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 federal grade level, performing duties as outlined above.
- **Skills:** Proven ability in budget analysis, planning, formulation, justification, and monitoring; strong analytical skills for policy interpretation and program evaluation.
- **Federal Requirements:** U.S. Citizenship, successful completion of a thorough background investigation, and compliance with residency requirements (physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years, with potential waivers). Current federal employees must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at the GS-13 level or equivalent). New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
