Budget Analyst

This role involves budget analysis, planning, and execution within a federal law enforcement agency, requiring strong analytical and communication skills. **Key Responsibilities:** * **GS-12 Level:** * Monitor budget execution across diverse funding sources. * Analyze data and assist with budget forecasting for programs. * Develop clear financial summaries and presentations for various audiences. * **GS-13 Level (in addition to GS-12 duties):** * Interpret and apply complex policies to develop comprehensive budgetary plans and guidance. * Independently review, analyze, consolidate, and revise budget estimates and execution plans. * Provide strategic recommendations to management on resource reallocation. **Required Qualifications:** * **Experience:** 1 year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (e.g., GS-11 for GS-12, GS-12 for GS-13). Volunteer experience counts. * **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
