Summary
Join AWS Legal as an Associate Corporate Counsel to negotiate strategic technology agreements and provide counsel for cloud computing sales.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support its dynamic Sales, Marketing, and Global Services team, focusing on Industries sales.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead negotiation and drafting of strategic technology agreements with enterprise customers.
- Provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation to business teams.
- Support business development and other strategic initiatives.
- Manage legal issues in existing commercial relationships and pre-litigation disputes.
- Contribute to broader Amazon legal projects, including process simplification.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in at least one state bar.
- 2+ years of legal experience.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience from both corporate law firms and in-house legal departments.
- Background in web services, cloud computing, software licensing, or telecommunications.
