Job Description

Summary

Federal Human Resources Specialist needed with 1+ year specialized experience in HR functions and federal regulatory compliance.

We are seeking a Human Resources professional with at least one year of specialized federal HR experience. This role requires comprehensive knowledge and practical application of federal human resources principles and regulations.

  • *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
  • Perform a wide range of HR functions including position classification, compensation, recruitment, human resources development, employee relations, benefits, and labor management relations within the federal government.
  • Interpret and explain key personnel policies, ensuring departmental compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with agency-specific labor/management contracts and organizational structures.
  • Apply knowledge of federal human resources regulatory references.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Minimum of one year of specialized experience directly related to the duties described, equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
  • No substitution of education for specialized experience at these grade levels.
  • Creditable experience includes both paid and unpaid work; applicants must detail actual time spent per week for all experience.
