Job Title: Art Director (Web & Print) Location: Washington D.C. | Onsite - Hybrid Employment: Full-time, Salaried Exempt Salary: $95,000 to $105,000, DOE

  • *Position Summary:**
Lead the creative vision and execution for Museum of the Bible across digital and print platforms. This strategic role requires a strong design background, overseeing diverse creative deliverables from websites and digital campaigns to print collateral.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Direct concept development, design, and execution of web, digital, and print projects.
  • Oversee and guide the work of designers, freelancers, and creative contributors.
  • Develop cohesive visual strategies to strengthen brand identity across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing and web teams to create engaging digital experiences (websites, landing pages, emails).
  • Direct creation of print materials including brochures, event graphics, signage, and publications.
  • Ensure all creative deliverables meet quality standards, deadlines, and project objectives.
  • Present creative concepts and design solutions to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing hands-on design with high-level art direction.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • 10+ years of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing both web and print projects.
  • Proven experience leading creative projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency with design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Understanding of front-end web design principles and collaboration with developers.
  • Experience in print production processes and preparing press-ready files.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior designers.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Expert eye for typography, composition, color, and brand consistency.
  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into impactful visual solutions.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
