Ymca Kipp Web Group Leader – Pre-K / Kindergarten

Join the YMCA at KIPP DC as a Part-Time Pre-K/Kindergarten Group Leader, passionately supporting early childhood development in a safe, engaging environment.

• *Location:** YMCA at KIPP Web Campus
• *Compensation:** $17.95 - $21.00 per hour
• *Schedule:** Part-Time | School Year | Monday-Friday
• Before Care: 6:30am - 8:00am
• After Care: 2:30pm - 6:30pm
• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead and supervise Pre-K/Kindergarten children in structured and unstructured activities.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational programs.
• Support children's emotional, social, and physical development.
• Ensure constant safety and proper supervision.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff.
• *Qualifications:**
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with young children (ages 3-6) in a structured setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or ECE coursework preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to foster an inclusive environment for children of all abilities.
