Weapons Systems Policy Analyst

This role involves developing and applying national security and arms transfer policies within defense programs, focusing on weapons systems sales and technology transfer.

• *Responsibilities & Requirements:**
• *For GS-13 (equivalent to one year at GS-12 federal service):**
• Formulate or assist with policies for weapons systems sales.
• Interpret and apply national security and arms transfer policy guidelines, considering technology transfer and overall policy objectives.
• Plan, schedule, organize, and conduct projects related to weapons policy.
• *For GS-14 (equivalent to one year at GS-13 federal service):**
• Develop, coordinate, and represent policies for weapon systems or defense-related programs.
• Interpret and apply national security and arms transfer policy guidelines, considering technology transfer and overall national policy objectives.
• Formulate policy and procedural recommendations for technology transfers and weapons sales, supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or other defense programs.
• Apply technological knowledge in areas such as Command and Control (C2), Electronic Warfare, Cyber, and/or Space systems.
• *General:**
• Qualifying experience includes both paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer service (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps). All relevant experience will be credited.
