UX Designer, Lead

We are seeking a creative and experienced Lead UX Designer to drive the creation of intuitive, aesthetically pleasing digital experiences for web applications, serving government clients.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and interface design.
• Partner with product managers to understand client visions and user needs.
• Guide an agile team in developing large-scale, user-centric digital experiences.
• Advocate for design-centered changes and improvements, prioritizing the end-user.
• Contribute to missions that serve civilians through exceptional design.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• 10+ years of experience in design.
• Proven experience with end-to-end research and design for websites and digital applications.
• Knowledge of federal web design best practices (e.g., plain language, accessibility, design standards).
• Proficiency with Figma and design prototyping/testing tools (e.g., Optimal Workshop).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust determination.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience collaborating with researchers, other designers, development teams, and managing client relationships.
• UX Design Certification.
