UX Designer and Strategist

As a Lead UX Designer and Strategist, you will drive the creation of intuitive, large-scale digital experiences. This role involves leading agile teams, partnering with product managers, and advocating for design-centered solutions to improve critical web applications. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the full digital creative process: user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development. * Collaborate with product managers and lead agile teams to define and deliver user-centric solutions. * Champion design-centered changes and improvements, prioritizing the end-user experience. **Required Qualifications:** * 5+ years of experience in web design. * Proficiency in producing low to high-fidelity, interactive mockups. * Experience developing and maintaining roadmaps and UX testing schedules. * Agile environment experience, including designing with systems like USWDS or component-based design. * Skilled in eliciting business requirements, developing user stories, and prioritizing customer feedback (qualitative/quantitative). * Expertise in UX research methods and deliverables, including user testing (usability testing, card sorting, A/B testing). * Ability to drive UX strategic change within Federal Agencies, collaborating with clients and internal teams. * Strong collaboration, influencing, and team mobilization skills for cross-functional teams. * Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. * Bachelor's degree. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in Angular or front-end development. * Experience supporting large-scale, public-facing web design efforts. * Familiarity with competitive analysis and tracking design trends. * Experience in UX strategy, content strategy, product management, service design, or UX copywriting. * Ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions, reviews, and workshops. * Excellent communication skills.
