## UX Content Designer

  • *Contract:** 3+ Months
  • *Location:** Merrifield, VA (Hybrid)
  • *Pay:** $55.00 - $60.00/hour
  • *About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced UX Content Designer to craft useful and meaningful content that shapes product experiences. This role involves setting content vision, driving cohesive product narratives across platforms, and ensuring timely content delivery within a dynamic hybrid environment.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Design, write, edit, test, and improve diverse product content, including flows, interface language, emails, notifications, and educational materials.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive content strategies throughout the product lifecycle, influencing decisions to ensure messaging consistency and performance.
  • Establish and execute a clear messaging vision for products, ensuring cohesive narratives across all digital touchpoints.
  • Create and maintain content guidelines, principles, and best practices for voice, tone, headers, and calls to action.
  • Conduct content inventories and audits to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancing customer experience and business performance.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including product, design, research, engineering, and marketing communications.
  • Advocate for UX content best practices, research complex messaging problems, and identify copy-based solutions.
  • Originate new concepts and strategies for user experience messaging, managing multiple projects with effective prioritization.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in UX Content Design, UX Writing, or Content Strategy.
  • Advanced project management skills, including leading teams, managing timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to articulate design concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including non-designers.
  • Exceptional verbal, visual, organizational, and detail-oriented communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, creative, visual, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of effective writing and editing principles.
  • Experience with user-centered design processes and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of modern development standards (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and web/mobile/application design principles.
  • **Desired:** Master’s degree, knowledge of the financial services industry, or Human Factors Institute Certified Analyst.
