## UI/UX Designer (Hybrid) - Federal Client

Digital Strategy LLC is seeking a **hybrid UI/UX Designer** to support an urgent federal client proposal. This role involves crafting simple, innovative, and impactful UX solutions to enhance user experience, content availability, and accessibility within enterprise applications.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Study existing UI/UX, identify friction points, and propose improvement strategies.
• Design and produce high-quality UI/UX solutions, including wireframes, site maps, and prototypes.
• Lead discovery, user research, and data synthesis to develop user insights and design effective experiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs, business goals, and gather feedback to drive product direction.
• Conduct user interface testing.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with transparent communication and quick turn-around expectations.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a Technology-related field.
• 10+ years of total work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in visual and sensory systems design.
• 7+ years in user research, and UX/UI design for Web and Mobile interfaces.
• Exceptional proficiency in user-centric front-end web development.
• Advanced proficiency with prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, Zeplin, Abstract, InVision, or live code prototyping.
• Strong understanding of Accessible Design/Development principles.
• Sound knowledge of Atomic Design and component-based design-development.
• Demonstrated ability in data and insights analysis to determine experience success metrics and KPIs.
• Advanced proficiency in complex system and process mapping.
• Mastery of user research and testing, including mapping user journeys and interactive flows.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with keen attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of project scope estimates.
• *Experience with federal projects is a plus.*
• *Important Details:**
• This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of **2 days/week onsite in Rockville, MD**, with periodic trips to Washington, DC.
• **US Citizenship is mandatory**; candidates must pass a federal background check and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• *Compensation & Benefits:**
• **Salary:** $123,000.00 - $125,250.00 per year
