Job Description

Summary

UI/UX Designer to create intuitive digital experiences for a global financial regulator using Agile and government design standards.

As a UI/UX Designer, you will contribute to critical digital experiences for a global financial regulator. You will work within an Agile environment, collaborating with a lead designer, clients, product owners, and federal end-users to deliver intuitive and accessible solutions.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Translate user needs and research findings into clean, intuitive, and accessible UI designs.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using Figma.
  • Present design work clearly and confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, to ensure design feasibility and implementation fidelity.
  • Create user flows, journey maps, and interaction models to guide design decisions.
  • Conduct user feedback sessions and testing, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Apply responsive and mobile-first design practices in data-heavy or government-facing environments.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
  • 2+ years working with Agile/Scrum teams and user-centered design/design thinking methodologies.
  • 2+ years supporting user feedback sessions, translating user needs, and presenting designs.
  • 2+ years experience with Figma for developing wireframes, prototypes, or high-fidelity visual designs.
  • 2+ years experience with responsive/mobile-first design in government or data-heavy contexts.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • 3+ years experience with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) and government digital service standards.
  • 2+ years experience with web accessibility standards (Section 508 or WCAG).
  • 2+ years collaborating closely with product managers and complex stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools, including Adobe CC.
  • Experience conducting research around AI design pattern usability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • *Compensation Range:** $62,000 - $141,000 (annualized USD).
