Job Description
Summary
Manage complex litigation and legal analysis as a JD-qualified, bar-admitted U.S. Citizen attorney.
We are seeking highly qualified and experienced legal professionals to join our team. This role involves managing complex legal challenges and requires a strong background in litigation and legal analysis.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform independent legal analysis on unique and difficult legal issues.
- Draft sophisticated pleadings, briefs, and other court documents for civil or criminal litigation.
- Lead and conduct highly complex civil or criminal litigation.
- Provide guidance and leadership to paralegals and support staff.
- *Minimum Requirements:**
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent.
- Active membership in the bar of any U.S. jurisdiction.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- **Post-J.D. Legal Experience (minimums):**
- Qualifications must be met by the vacancy closing date.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Exceptional writing, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated sound judgment.
- Previous trial work experience.
- Judicial clerkship experience is desirable.
- *Employment Conditions:**
- This position requires a mandatory 2-year trial period to assess fitness and alignment with public interest.
