- Active Bar Member in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
- U.S. Citizen
- Minimum 1 year post-J.D. legal or relevant experience
- *Experience Requirements by Grade Level:**
- GS-12: 1+ year post-J.D.
- GS-13: 1.5+ years post-J.D.
- GS-14: 2.5+ years post-J.D.
- GS-15: 4+ years post-J.D.

- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Excellent writing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated good judgment
- Trial work experience
- Judicial clerkship experience
