Job Description
Seeking experienced legal professionals with J.D. and bar membership for government roles requiring litigation expertise.
Seeking a skilled legal professional. This role requires a J.D. degree, active bar membership (any U.S. jurisdiction), and U.S. citizenship.
**Required Experience:**
* GS-12: Min. 1 year post-J.D. legal or relevant experience
* GS-13: Min. 1.5 years post-J.D. legal experience
* GS-14: Min. 2.5 years post-J.D. legal experience
* GS-15: Min. 4 years post-J.D. legal experience
* *Note: Meeting minimum experience does not guarantee selection at a specific grade.*
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Excellent academic credentials
* Strong advocacy and legal writing skills
* Proven experience in litigation, including:
* Drafting and arguing motions
* Managing discovery
* Taking and defending depositions
* Developing expert testimony
* Trial experience
**Additional Requirement:**
* Successful candidates will serve a mandatory 2-year trial period.
