Trial Attorney - Camp Lejeune

This position seeks an experienced legal professional to perform complex legal analysis, manage litigation, and draft court documents within a federal government context. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in legal practice and a commitment to public service.

• *Responsibilities:**
• Conduct independent legal analysis on intricate issues.
• Compose pleadings, briefs, and other court documents for civil or criminal litigation.
• Lead highly complex civil or criminal litigation cases.
• Provide leadership and guidance to paralegals and support staff.
• *Minimum Qualifications:**
• J.D. degree (or equivalent).
• Active member of the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of post-JD legal, trial, or directly relevant experience. (Experience requirements scale with grade level, up to 4+ years for senior roles).
• Demonstrated expertise in legal analysis, drafting court documents, and litigation management.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Exceptional writing, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong professional judgment.
• Previous trial work experience.
• Judicial clerkship experience is desirable.
