Trial Attorney

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform comprehensive legal analysis and research.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and various court documents.
• Manage and oversee complex legal cases.
• *Qualifications:**
• **Required:**

* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent. * Active license to practice law in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia. * Active member of the bar in good standing.

• **Experience Levels:**

* **GS-11:** Up to one (1) year of post-J.D. legal experience. * **GS-12:** One (1) or more years of post-J.D. legal experience, including specialized experience (e.g., legal analysis, drafting court documents) at a comparable level to GS-11.

• **Valued Skills & Attributes:**

* Strong legal analysis and writing proficiency. * Demonstrated persuasiveness and reasoned judgment. * Proactive initiative and creative problem-solving. * Excellent complex case management abilities. * Collaborative mindset and commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.

• **Preferred (but not required):**

* Experience or interest in immigration law. * Trial work or appellate advocacy experience.
