Trial Attorney

Join our federal legal team as an Attorney (GS-11/12) to contribute to critical legal functions. We seek highly capable legal professionals ready to apply robust legal expertise in a dynamic environment.

• *Key Responsibilities May Include:**
• Performing complex legal analysis and research.
• Drafting and composing a range of legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and court filings.
• (For experienced candidates) Managing discovery, taking depositions, developing expert testimony, and litigating cases.
• Handling multiple assignments with precision under tight deadlines.
• *Qualifications:**
• *Required:**
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent degree.
• Active license to practice law in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Member in good standing of a U.S. Bar.
• *Experience:**
• **GS-11:** Up to one (1) year of post-J.D. legal experience.
• **GS-12:** One (1) or more years of post-J.D. legal experience, including one year of specialized legal work (e.g., legal analysis, document drafting) at a level equivalent to GS-11.
• *Preferred Skills & Experience:**
• Exceptional academic credentials and outstanding legal writing and advocacy skills.
• Experience in drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, taking/defending depositions, and trying cases.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• *Additional Information:**
• This position requires a 2-year trial period.
