Travel Specialist

This position qualifies at the GS-11 level, focusing on federal travel administration. To be considered, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  Specialized Experience:**

• One year of experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service.
• This includes preparing travel authorizations and vouchers, advising travelers on policies, regulations, and relocation procedures, and resolving technical issues within automated government travel systems (e.g., Defense Travel System).

• *2. Advanced Education:**
• A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
• or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
• or an LL.M. (if related to the position).

• *3. Combination of Experience and Education:**
• A combination of specialized experience (less than one year) and graduate education (more than one year but less than two years).
• Applicants must compute their combined percentage of these requirements, which must total at least 100%.
• Note: Experience includes both paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer service through programs like Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and other organizations. All qualifying experience will be credited.*
