Summary
Analyze U.S. industrial base, national security, and critical technologies, delivering key insights and policy recommendations.
This role involves conducting critical trade and industry research and analysis focused on the U.S. manufacturing and industrial base, national security, and critical technologies.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct in-depth trade and industry research and analysis.
- Utilize data analysis tools to collect, organize, and evaluate data, identifying key findings and trends.
- Prepare comprehensive written materials communicating analytical conclusions and assessments.
- Present clear and impactful analytical briefings to senior leaders, interagency partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- *(For GS-13 level):* Develop advanced methods, processes, and policy recommendations related to the U.S. industrial base, trade, and national security.
- *Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 (for GS-12 applicants) or GS-12 (for GS-13 applicants) level in federal service or equivalent difficulty and responsibility.
- Specialized experience demonstrates proficiency in the core responsibilities outlined above.
- Relevant experience, including volunteer work that builds critical competencies, is fully credited.
