Telecommunications Specialist

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to manage, optimize, and support highly complex communication systems for critical worldwide missions. This role focuses on system evaluation, database management, and implementing advanced voice and data solutions.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Investigate, evaluate, and define requirements for sophisticated communications systems.
• Perform database management on the Cable Assignment Information Retrieval System (CAIRS).
• Provision and maintain telephone switching systems.
• Support the development and implementation of analog, digital, and VoIP telecommunications systems.
• Contribute to meeting worldwide Department of Defense (DoD) and Agency network access requirements.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 federal level (or comparable experience in the private sector or military).
• Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and determining requirements for complex communication systems.
• Experience with database management, including CAIRS, and provisioning telephone switching systems.
• Proficiency in analog, digital, and VoIP telecommunications technologies.
• Note: Education cannot be substituted for specialized experience for this position.
