Technician

Join our team as an Engineering Technician, contributing to the critical manufacturing of energetic chemicals and materials. We are seeking professionals to support production systems and ensure operational excellence.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Apply technical engineering procedures to production and manufacturing processes.
• Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
• Support the safe handling and production of energetic chemicals (e.g., liquid nitrate esters, acids, bases).
• Contribute to the design, quality, and adaptation of production systems and equipment.
• Assist with technical engineering tasks for manufacturing energetic chemicals, materials, or related systems.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **For NT-03 Level:** Minimum one year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-05/08) applying technical engineering procedures and interpreting technical documents in support of energetic chemical manufacturing.
• **For NT-02 Level:** Minimum one year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-01/04) reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to assist with technical engineering work.
• Experience can be from the private or public sector, including federal service.
