Supv IT Specialist (Sysadmin)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional for a GG-14 level position focused on comprehensive IT systems management. This role requires demonstrated expertise in optimizing client platforms, overseeing endpoint device management, and mitigating cybersecurity threats.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage and optimize existing client IT platforms.
• Oversee endpoint device management and ensure system integrity.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity threat mitigation strategies.
• Brief senior management and IT staff on system status, projects, and operations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, assessing IT needs.
• Identify and evaluate solutions for complex or sensitive IT-related issues.
• *Required Competencies & Experience:**

Applicants must possess at least one year of experience demonstrating immediate success in the following areas:

• **IT Systems Management:** Experience in all aspects, including client platform optimization, endpoint device oversight, and cybersecurity threat mitigation.
• **Attention to Detail:** Reviewing IT-related work and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• **Customer Service:** Developing relationships, anticipating needs, and identifying tailored IT solutions.
• **Oral Communication:** Briefly senior management and IT staff, communicating complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• **Problem Solving:** Identifying alternatives for unique or complex IT issues and evaluating potential solutions.
• *Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to the next lower grade in the federal service.
• Experience can include paid, unpaid, volunteer, and military service.
