Job Description

Summary

Seeking an experienced IT professional to supervise programs, lead analysis, and manage critical acquisition functions.

We are seeking a highly competent IT professional for a supervisory role focused on program management and acquisition. This position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and expertise in managing complex IT initiatives.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Manage and supervise a team of IT subordinates, including planning and assigning work.
  • Perform and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to enhance IT programs, project implementation, and overall effectiveness.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in IT work and data (Attention to Detail).
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, anticipating IT needs and delivering tailored solutions (Customer Service).
  • Effectively communicate complex technical information to both IT staff and senior-level management (Oral Communication).
  • Identify, anticipate, and resolve unique, highly complex IT-related issues by evaluating information and generating alternative solutions (Problem Solving).
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Experience:** At least one year of specialized experience demonstrating the ability to manage staff, plan work, conduct program analysis, and apply the core IT competencies (Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving).
  • **IT-Related Experience:** Demonstrated competencies in IT, suitable for or above the position level, including reviewing work, developing customer relationships, briefing diverse audiences, and complex problem-solving.
  • **Program Management Advanced Certification:** Must possess a DAWIA Program Management Advanced Certification or be eligible for certification within 48 months of appointment. Maintaining 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two years is a condition of employment.
  • **Critical Acquisition Position (CAP):** Must be a member of the DoD Acquisition Corps or eligible at the time of appointment. A written agreement to remain in Federal service for at least three years is required.
  • *Additional Information:**
  • All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the announcement's closing date.
  • Volunteer work and Military service equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service qualify as experience.
