Summary
IT Security Specialist to implement policies, conduct risk assessments, and safeguard systems, networks, and data.
We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to ensure the security and integrity of our information technology systems. This role requires a strong focus on implementing security protocols, assessing vulnerabilities, and effectively communicating complex technical information.
- *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and data safeguarding measures.
- Conduct comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments for IT systems and networks.
- *Required Competencies:**
- **Attention to Detail:** Review IT-related work and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, including the work of others.
- **Customer Service:** Develop and maintain customer relationships, anticipate IT needs, and deliver tailored technology solutions.
- **Oral Communication:** Brief senior-level management and IT staff on system status and projects, translating complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
- **Problem Solving:** Identify alternatives for unique, complex, or sensitive IT issues, anticipate problems, and evaluate potential solutions.
- *Qualifications:**
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience at the GG-13 level (or equivalent) demonstrating the competencies necessary for immediate success.
- Experience must be clearly detailed within your resume, specifically outlining how you meet the qualifying criteria.
