Summary
Lead comprehensive supply chain logistics, acquisition, and budgeting for a large organization as a senior specialist.
Join our team as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist – CSCO, leading critical supply chain operations to ensure organizational logistical requirements are met efficiently. This senior leadership role involves comprehensive oversight of acquisition, distribution, inventory, and budget management within a complex environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead, plan, coordinate, and evaluate all aspects of an organization’s supply chain and logistics programs.
- Manage and optimize acquisition, purchasing, transportation, distribution, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement budget formulations, forecasts, and expenditure monitoring for supply chain activities.
- Oversee a large team, including subordinate supervisors, fostering their development and ensuring equitable treatment.
- Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of all logistics operations.
- *Required Qualifications & Experience:**
- One year of specialized, senior-level experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the duties.
- Proven leadership experience in overseeing and managing large teams and subordinate supervisors.
- Expertise in acquisition management, purchasing, transportation, distribution, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated experience in budget formulation, financial management, and expenditure forecasting.
- *Key Skills & Competencies:**
- Strong leadership, coaching, and human resource management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills for complex issues.
- Advanced planning and evaluation capabilities to set objectives, monitor progress, and anticipate challenges.
- Proficiency in technical aspects of supply chain management, including acquisition strategy and program execution.
- High standards of honesty, integrity, trust, openness, and respect for individuals.
- *Work Environment & Physical Demands:**
- Primarily sedentary work, with occasional requirements for standing, walking, and maneuvering during site visits (e.g., warehouses, operating rooms, labs).
- May involve exposure to moving or hazardous equipment (e.g., forklifts).
- Occasional travel may be required.
