Summary
Seeking a Hazardous Materials Supply Management Specialist with expertise in federal regulations and program development for critical supply support.
We are seeking a Supply Management Specialist with a focus on Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). This role requires at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-12 federal level, or comparable private sector experience.
Candidates must demonstrate an expert understanding of Federal Supply Management principles, HAZMAT field concepts, and applicable federal, state, local, and Navy laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HAZMAT Program support.
- Identify and resolve requirements for conflicting or incomplete guidance concerning hazardous supplies.
- Defend and articulate program concepts during regulatory and oversight visits.
- Lead negotiations to expand the scope of the hazardous materials minimization Program.
- Establish policies, plans, and controls for effective supply management and support.
