Supervisory Security Specialist

This role involves leading and managing comprehensive Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security programs and policies across the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop, implement, and manage SCI security policies and procedures for the USCG.
• Lead and supervise federal employees, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Coordinate security missions with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee physical, personnel, information, and industrial security programs.
• Review SCIF construction documentation and determine accreditation.
• Design and deliver SCI security education and training programs for USCG personnel.
• Provide expert direction and guidance to subordinate units on SCI security management.
• Brief senior leadership on complex security issues, offering strategic recommendations.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all security operations.
• *Requirements:**
• Demonstrated specialized experience relevant to SCI security management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within two years of employment (DoD SPēD Certification Program).
• Qualifying experience includes both paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer service.
