Job Description
Summary
Lead, develop, and manage comprehensive SCI security policies and programs for the USCG, requiring SPēD certification and strong leadership skills.
This role involves leading and managing comprehensive Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security programs and policies across the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, implement, and manage SCI security policies and procedures for the USCG.
- Lead and supervise federal employees, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Coordinate security missions with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee physical, personnel, information, and industrial security programs.
- Review SCIF construction documentation and determine accreditation.
- Design and deliver SCI security education and training programs for USCG personnel.
- Provide expert direction and guidance to subordinate units on SCI security management.
- Brief senior leadership on complex security issues, offering strategic recommendations.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all security operations.
- *Requirements:**
- Demonstrated specialized experience relevant to SCI security management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within two years of employment (DoD SPēD Certification Program).
- Qualifying experience includes both paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer service.
